    In Office Portion (For Students who currently work with a physician)

 Clinical Observation

 

Minimum requirement of 24 hours of observation under the direct supervision of the licensed physician whom the technician will be working under.  Observation is required on the Technology and Modalities that each Technician will be using.  *These hours must be completed, with your physician’s verification to be in compliance with the ARRA’s requirements.   

 

This clinical observation requirement must be fulfilled every six months by your physician to be in compliance with current ARRA guidelines. All training, observation and practical records must be kept on file for Agency review for three years following the technician’s period of employment.

 

 Practical

  

Minimum requirement of 10 treatments for each modality that is relevant to the treatments that the technician will be performing.  *These practical treatments must be completed under direct supervision of your physician with verification to be in compliance with the ARRA’s requirements.

            Hair removal procedures under direct supervision of licensed practitioner

            Spider vein removal under direct supervision of licensed practitioner

            Skin Rejuvenation under direct supervision of licensed practitioner

            Non Ablative Skin Re-surfacing under direct supervision of licensed practitioner
